Rules of Play

Welcome to Party and Play Funhouse. We want every child and family to enjoy a fun, safe and exciting visit. Our play areas are designed for children to run, climb, explore and make friends. Please read and follow these Rules of Play before your visit.

Every child must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult aged 18 or over throughout their visit.

SAFETY & SUPERVISION

Children Must Be Supervised

Party and Play Funhouse aims to provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can play, run, climb and explore. However, active play naturally involves inherent risks.

Adult Supervision Requirements

A responsible parent or guardian aged 18 or over must remain onsite throughout the child’s visit.
Parents and guardians are responsible for actively supervising the children in their care.
Guardians must ensure children use the correct play area for their age and ability.
Children must be accompanied to the toilet by their parent or guardian.
Our staff monitor the equipment but do not provide individual childcare or supervision.

Understanding Inherent Risks

Active play risks include bumps, trips, falls, and collisions with other children or equipment.
We have taken reasonable steps to control and minimise these risks through the design, maintenance, and operation of the play centre.
Parents and guardians must recognise and accept that these risks cannot be removed completely.
Please help children play safely and follow all signs and instructions.

Parental Supervision Required

Our team does not replace parental supervision.

The responsible adult must remain onsite and supervise their children throughout the entire session.

WELLBEING & ZONES

Play Safely

Please Do Not Visit When Unwell

Children who are unwell should not use the play facilities.
Parents and guardians should consider the wellbeing of their own children and other visitors before attending.
If a child becomes unwell during a visit, the responsible adult should stop them from using the play areas.

Use the Correct Play Area

Age and height restrictions are enforced for the safety of all children.
Parents and guardians must ensure children use the play zones designed for their age, height and ability.
Customers must follow all signs and instructions displayed near individual play areas and equipment.
Children should not be encouraged to use equipment that is unsuitable for their age, height or ability.

What To Wear

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, please ensure your children are dressed appropriately for active play:

Long sleeves and trousers are recommended when using the play equipment.
Long hair must be tied back securely.
Extra care should be taken when children wear glasses or false nails.
Shoes must be removed before entering the indoor play equipment.
Socks must be worn at all times in the indoor play areas.
Shoes and socks must both be worn when using the outdoor play equipment.

Food & Belongings

Keep Personal Items Outside the Play Areas

Jewellery, watches, pens, money, buckles, sharp objects and similar items must not be taken onto the play equipment.
Any item that could cause injury or damage must be removed before entering a play zone.
Parents and guardians are responsible for keeping their personal belongings and valuables secure.
Personal belongings must remain with the parent or guardian.
Party and Play Funhouse accepts no liability for the loss or theft of personal belongings.

Food and Drink Rules

These rules help us maintain hygiene and an allergy-aware environment for all our visitors.

Only food and drink purchased from the Party and Play Funhouse café may be consumed at the centre.
Customers must not bring their own food or drinks into the centre.
Contravening the outside-food policy may result in the customer being asked to leave or being removed from the centre.
No food, drinks, sweets or chewing gum are permitted inside any play area.
Children should be given time after eating before returning to active play.
Food and drinks must remain in the designated seating and café areas.

If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, please speak to the team before ordering so we can explain the available options.

Be Kind & Respectful

Respectful Behaviour

All visitors must treat other customers, staff and the facilities with respect.
Verbal abuse, physical aggression, violence, threatening behaviour or other inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
Children should play considerately and should not deliberately hurt, intimidate or endanger another child.
Equipment must be treated with care.
Customers should follow reasonable instructions given by Party and Play Funhouse staff.

Parties & Photography

Parties may only take place when they have been officially booked with Party and Play Funhouse.
Unbooked or independently organised parties are strictly not permitted within the play centre.
Outside party food, drinks, decorations and balloons are not permitted unless approved by management.
Photography is only permitted inside the designated party rooms—it is strictly prohibited elsewhere in the centre.
When taking photographs in a party room, you must respect the privacy of other children and families.

Attraction Specifics

Go-Kart Rules

Children aged 5+ may drive solo and younger children may use a two-seat kart with an adult Customers must follow all displayed go-kart instructions and staff directions.

£1 Per Ride

Outdoor Play & Weather

Shoes and socks must be worn when using the outdoor equipment. The Outdoor Adventure Area is weather-dependent and may close during poor weather. Indoor play remains available when the outdoor area has to close.

Play Session Length

Play sessions may be restricted to two hours. Any restriction will be communicated to you upon arrival. Please leave the play areas promptly when your session ends so we can prepare for the next visitors.

Following The Rules

Smoke-Free Site

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building.
E-cigarettes and vaping are not permitted inside the building.
Smoking, vaping and e-cigarette use are not permitted anywhere on the Party and Play Funhouse grounds.

Changes to Our Services

Party and Play Funhouse reserves the right to change opening times, prices, menus and play equipment.
Changes may sometimes be necessary without prior notification.
Where reasonably possible, we will aim to inform customers in advance.
Please check the website or contact the centre for the latest information before travelling.

Refusal of Entry and Removal

Party and Play Funhouse reserves the right to refuse entry.
Anyone who does not follow the Rules of Play may be asked to leave.
Anyone displaying abusive, aggressive, dangerous or inappropriate behaviour may be required to leave immediately.
Customers asked to leave for failing to follow the rules will not receive a refund.
Bringing prohibited outside food or drink may result in immediate removal.
Decisions will be made with the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of customers and staff in mind.

Five Rules To Remember
