When is Afternoon Tea with the Grinch taking place?

Our Afternoon Tea with the Grinch will be held at Party and Play Funhouse, Bolton, on Friday 12th December between 1pm and 3pm. Make sure to book early, as spaces are limited!

The event takes place at Party and Play Funhouse, Westhoughton, Bolton — a fun, family-friendly indoor play and activity centre.

What’s included in the Afternoon Tea with the Grinch?

Each child will enjoy a delicious festive afternoon tea, meet the Grinch himself, and take part in Christmas crafts and themed fun.
Adults can sit back and enjoy their own festive treats too!

Do adults need a ticket?

Yes — one adult ticket is included per child ticket.
If you’re bringing extra adults, you’ll need to purchase an Extra Adult Ticket when booking.

Is there a ticket for babies?

Yes — we offer a Baby Ticket (for little ones under 12 months).
This ticket doesn’t include food but allows access to the Baby Sensory Room during the event.

Are there vegetarian or dietary options available?

Of course! Please let us know about any dietary requirements or allergies when booking, and we’ll make sure your afternoon tea is suitable.

Can I take photos with the Grinch?

Absolutely! Families are welcome to take photos during the event — the Grinch loves a cheeky festive selfie (even if he pretends not to!).

What should we wear?

Festive outfits are always encouraged! Christmas jumpers, elf hats, and sparkly accessories all help make the event even more magical.

Is there parking available?

Yes — we have ample free on-site parking at Party and Play Funhouse for all event guests.

How long does the event last?

The Afternoon Tea with the Grinch experience lasts around 2 hours, giving families plenty of time to eat, play, and enjoy the festive fun.

Can I get a refund if we can’t attend?

Tickets are non-refundable once purchased, but you may be able to transfer to another available session if there’s space. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.
